Haiku Contest Update

 Since June 25, The Collinsport Historical Society has been hosting a Dark Shadows-themed haiku contest, and we've received a lot of entries during the last few weeks. Pictured above are the top three entries so far, as voted on by the readers at The Collinsport Historical Society's Facebook page. Strangely, there are a few haiku entries that have not received any votes, which means the people who have submitted them have not voted on their own poems ...

But the contest is far from over. Voting ends on Sept. 23, with the contest winner to be announced on this site a few days later. There's still plenty of time to enter.
